Welcome to Camp Dragonfly!
On A Dragonfly’s Wings is excited to launch our first annual youth mental wellness camp for kids who will be entering grades 4-9 in the 2025-26 school year. This camp is a free, week-long summer camp focusing on helping kids learn skills and strategies to develop strong mental health habits. The camp will be held at Hess Hathaway Farm in Waterford, Michigan, June 23-27 from 8am to 1pm.
Any student entering 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade during the 2025-26 school year are invited to attend. This camp will be free to all students attending and will be filled on a first-come basis. Students will benefit from joining small and large group activities to help them develop peer relationships and foster positive mental health. This camp will focus on self-regulation and coping strategies that will include nature, nutrition, physical movement, journaling, team building, and so much more.
Please know that your child’s safety while in our care is of the utmost importance to us. All facilitators at our camp are currently either local teachers or social workers. In addition, we will have numerous volunteers (all background checked) to ensure a safe space, including at least one certified clinician onsite at all times to assist when applicable.
The curriculum each day has been carefully thought out and will cover five key areas:
- Self-Awareness
- Self-Management
- Social Awareness
- Relationship Skills
- Responsible Decision Making
Breakfast and one snack will be provided to your child each day to ensure they are nourished and ready to participate!
To register your child for this week-long camp, please fill out the online registration form and submit. As stated previously, this camp will be filled on a first-come basis. We will place kids on a waiting list in the event a spot should open up prior to camp start date.
Please note that by registering your child for this camp, you are committing them to attending all five days from 8am to 1pm and you will provide transportation to and from camp.
